The temazcal is an ancestral steam bath ceremony that represents the mother’s womb and conscious rebirth.

Through heat, breath and connection with the elements —earth, water, air and fire— it supports a deep physical, emotional and spiritual cleansing.

This experience invites you to release fears, old memories and limiting beliefs, reconnecting with the origin, with life and with the vital force of the land.

Frequently asked questions

What is a temazcal?

It is an ancestral Mesoamerican steam bath ceremony. Volcanic stones are heated in the sacred fire and carried into a closed lodge, where water and medicinal plants create the steam.

Who should not enter the temazcal?

It is not recommended during pregnancy, with uncontrolled high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy or after drinking alcohol. If in doubt, consult your doctor and message us before booking.

Can I leave if I feel uncomfortable?

Yes. You can always step out between doors or ask for help. We care for each person's process.
